The Hunter women live in what’s known as a club sandwich home, housing three different generations under one roof. Laura, 43, is a single mom who is back to raising her daughter Mollie, 22, who just moved back to the nest after finishing college until she can earn enough income to pay off her loans and live on her own. But Laura is also taking care of her mother, Mary. Mary’s husband recently passed away, and Mary didn’t feel comfortable living alone during this hard time. The three women help each other through the issues that each is dealing with. Laura and Mary together bought life insurance to cover the mortgage to ensure the financial security in knowing their home will be paid for if something happens.
