Due to the continued low interest rate environment, effective Monday, July 26, we will no longer accept business on the 10-year rate plan for the Select Advantage Annuity. All applications and supporting paperwork need to be received in the Home Office by Friday, July 23.
With this change, we will not currently offer a Single Premium Deferred Annuity (SPDA). We are in the process of filing a SPDA product that will provide significant selling opportunities in today’s market.
Illinois Mutual is fully committed to the SPDA market and looks forward to introducing our new portfolio in the near future.
- Effective July 23, 2010, we are suspending the sale of the 10-year plan until further notice.
- Effective May 17, 2010, we are suspending the sale of the 8-year plan until further notice.
- Effective May 17, 2010, we are suspending the sale of the 7-year plan until further notice.
- Effective January 25, 2010, we are suspending the sale of the 6-year plan until further notice.
- Effective November 23, 2009, we are suspending the sale of the 5-year plan until further notice.
- Effective April 14, 2009, we are suspending the sale of the 4-year plan until further notice.
- Effective March 17, 2009, we are suspending the sale of the 3-year plan until further notice.
- *Current interest rates are subject to change without notice. We review rates on
a weekly basis. If a change does occur, we will attempt
to give a minimum of five days notice prior to the implementation of the change.
Please check this page often. Any changes in interest rates will be posted as
they occur.
- The interest rate credited to our annuity contracts is determined based on the date
that we receive the initial annuity premium.
